Join Thames21 - London's leading waterways charity - to help clean-up East London's waterways.
On the lowest daytime tide for five years\, Thames21 will be mobilising volunteers to help clean-up two sites in East London over two days. All welcome\, and all equipment provided. Just turn up wearing clothes you don't mind getting a bit muddy.
DAY ONE\: ISLE OF DOGS

Please wear old clothes appropriate to the weather. Access to the beach is down steps with a handrail. We'll provide all safety clothing and equipment\, and a hot lunch afterwards thanks to Urban Space Management.

After a short stop at the edge of Victoria Park\, the walk goes past Roman Road towards Bow Quarter and Kingsley Hall. Starting at 1.00 pm (13\:00) from House Mill\; the walk is likely to last three hours (depending on the group). This is a circular walk\, and hence we aim to return to Three Mill Lane (by about 4pm). The complete walk is unsuitable for children under 10 although they would enjoy the shorter versions of the walk. We meet at House Mill which is near Tesco at Bromley By Bow Tube Station (Three Mill Lane\, London E3 3DU)
